Coventrians 8 - 22 Manor Park (Mids 5 West South)

I wasn't there today but apparently they played a lot better than last week (wasn't hard) - our points were scored by (a lighter) Keiran Martin try from close in and a penalty from Deadeye Douglas. Giz Gisbourne played 80 minutes again and fair play to him, he's Bulko's answer to the Green Goddess, fit as a butcher's dog and still wearing a club tie to league games. Oh, I nearly forgot, prop STEVE VALLIS (minus leg hairs and standing in at hooker for a bit) was instrumental (and I mean he blew his own trumpet) in the try with a sidestep, dummy, scissors and a sprint . . . before putting 'Supersize' Martin in.

Manor Park 2nds 17 - 20 Coventrians 2nds (Warks 3)

All hail the stiffs again for another great result. Pete & Simon (surname of these bros on a postcard please) scored the tries with top points scorer in the club 'Ben Davies' potting 2 conversions and 2 pens. Alan Bedford with 2 try assists (he told me to write this) was the mainstay and captain Dave Baileys (on ice) had another hangover and is looking more like Peter Sutcliffe every week. Well done boys!
