Covents Rue Their Luck as Wasps Take the Points

Covents, without five 1st team regulars went down 17 - 12 in a hard fought but clean encounter at Dudley today. Carl Thornton and Chris Simons scored tries with Ben Davies converting one. Apparently we had "four" tries disallowed and what seemed a clear penalty try not awarded. Special mention goes to Paul Brindley and John Field (who both had stormers) with John just shading Man of the Match.
